Earth C-Air

The association Earth C-Air was founded in 2015 on the occasion of the devastating earthquake in Nepal.

Because we know the Himalayan region well from several training projects, we felt obliged to act quickly after this disaster.

We greatly appreciate every solidarity and spontaneous support!

The name Earth C-Air means:

Global, worldwide promotion and training

Club (Association)

Combine (combining training and assistance)
Cooperation (cooperation with confidential partners)
Connection (Long-term companionate teamwork)

Connectedness with helicopter flying and mountain rescue

The club name is pronounced like “take care” simply in two words: Earth C-Air".

Earth C-Air is a non-profit organisation, with the purpose according to the bylaws.

  • Global disaster and development aid and humanitarian assistance
  • Support for social and medical projects
  • Instruction and training of mountain rescuers, flying and terrestrial

The association consists of donors, supporters and the board of the founder members.

The founding members of the association are Bruno Jelk, Daniel Brunner and Gerold Biner.

For decades, we have been committed to the rescue method and aviation safety. It is of great importance to us to transfer this experience and know-how to other countries.

When the association was founded, the initiators themselves provided considerable start-up capital.

The entire commitment of the Swiss Earth C-Air team is voluntary!

We would be happy to provide you with more detailed information about the progress of the current development, or to present detailed explanations about the aid organisation to interest groups.
