December 2019

Dear donors, supporters and volunteers,

A painful loss, a medical mission and a historic foundation laying ceremony at the end of the year.

We are still upset and in sadness that Regula Kaufmann, a member of our team, is no longer with us.

Regi (here on the left in the picture with her companion Sonam, our employee of the NGO in Kathmandu) has been involved in our organization for years with a lot of spirit and has done voluntary administrative work. Unfortunately she had an accident in the mountains at the end of October.

The confirmation proverb of Regula, "Every person has received a special talent from God and he should serve others with this special ability" will be our association motto in the future.

In November, an Earth C-Air Medical team conducted a health camp in 3 villages in the Gorkha district. The  15-person group cared for over 900 patients.

At the same time, the new health post in the Patalekharka settlement was ceremonially opened.

We noticed that our care so far has had a positive effect. Above all, the teeth of the population are healthier. Under the direction of Dr. Erwin Julen and the experts from Nepal, great things were done again! Many thanks to all.

The foundation laying ceremony of the health center in Khorlabesi was very emotional. It will be a great challenge and we very much appreciate that Swiss experts are volunteering.

From a well thought-out vision, a meaningful medical centre is now emerging, which can only be realised through donations and a great amount of volunteer commitment.

Our team is motivated, with passion and perseverance from all, the facility can be opened in 18 months.

With confidence in the sustainable Swiss-Nepal project and in remembrance of Regula, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the trust you have placed in us and wish you a great festive season!

Namaste und vielen Dank! Merci! Grazie! Thank you!
